We would love to hear what you think of our PowerChef Grills, please post a comment below.

  • I am considering buying the Powerchef Table top electric grill model: Dimplex Metro PBQ-120-METRO Tabletop Grill, Black.

I can not find any information on how to clean it.

Does the stainless steel grill remove easily for cleaning?

I understand the drip pan does remove easily.

    Thank you,

    Marcia Diane

  • Hello Barbara,

Yes you can use any type of non-stick coating, it’s no problem at all!

  • i just purchased the Power Chef and used it to grill fish. The fish cooked perfectly, however, clean up after was not that easy.
Can I use nonstick spray or coat the grill with olive oil before putting any food on the grill?

  • @Ed – I asked our Tech Support team to look into your case – they were unable to find a BBQ purchase with your last name. Who told you that the part would cost $180> Have you tried calling tech support?

I would suggest filing out the contact form to get some insight – http://dimplex.com/customer_support/contact_us

  • There is no doubt about the superior cooking of this device….when it’s working.

My Power Chef control panel de-laminated and so does not work. This is is quite obviously a manufacturing fault. I have been told that the replacement part will cost about $180.00.

So what do I do now? Buy a new part, with no guarantee that it will outlast the original. Buy a whole new Power Chef or consign my Power Chef to the dump.

The Power Chef concept is excellent, the actual item leaves something to be desired, with a few small improvements it could sweep all other (long lasting) grills off the market.

  • Hello Steven,

The grill elements on all of our electric BBQ’s are made of food safe 304 grade stainless steel.

  • Hi. I’m looking for a grill that uses stainless steel grates or ceramic non-stick coatings. I don’t want PTFE or similar non-stick coatings. What do you use on the PowerChef Dimplex Tabletop and other products? Thanks.

    Testimonials

It is the best BBQ we have ever owned! We thought losing our gas grill was going to be a tragedy until we got our Dimplex. It is so easy and everything turns out so perfectly. We are just thrilled.

I really love the consistent great results I get cooking on my PowerChef. Gone are the overcooked steaks and juggling the hot and cold spots on the BBQ.

It is simply the most user-friendly BBQ I have ever used and, best of all, you never fail to achieve perfect results...it's almost magic. Just love it!
